With a background as a Gymnast for over two decades, a Trainer and Coach of 13 years, and a Fitness Enthusiast my entire life, it would be safe to say that health and wellness is a big priority for myself and the people around me. My ambition is plain and simple. I want to carry health and happiness on my shoulders and share it with anyone and everyone I meet. I believe that there is no life fully fulfilled without knowing and showing the best of who you are with the world around you and to the ones you love most.

The ability to fully understand and utilize your body and mind at its fullest potential allows you to succeed in any and every situation life may throw at you or you throw yourself at. Whether your goals are to own your own business, be a professional athlete, or be the best 1st grade teacher in the world, you need a strong body and mind to help push you forward when obstacles try to hold you back.

I have had the amazing opportunity to coach alongside some of the best teachers of fitness in the world and been lucky enough to walk beside and help hundreds of others achieve, both physically and mentally, what they thought to be impossible.

Come walk beside me and my amazing team of professionals and let’s see what you’re capable of!

Coach

I was a gymnast at Naperville Central High School (class of 1981), and began running seriously around age 30. In my 40’s, I moved into triathlon, and began to include more focused strength work in my training. I discovered CrossFit and OCR in 2015, and began coaching in 2018. I am also a Psychology professor at College of DuPage and am very interested in Sport Psychology.

My coaching philosophy is an extension of the principles that guide me in the rest of my life.

Always learn and improve. Always have a goal but enjoy the journey. Never give up.

Coach

I grew up in Hungary and graduated at Eötvös University, specializing inbiochemistry, microbiology, genetics and immunology. My plan was tobuild a carrier as a researcher, but life happened, I  moved across the pond, had 4 kids and rediscovered my passion in CrossFit.

With my biology background I’m mostly interested in the science of
CrossFit, or with other words, the science of health: how to optimize
your training, nutrition and recovery based on the available scientific
research and how to bring this all to our members. I would like to help
everyone to discover scientifically proven, long term solutions fitting
their individual goals and guide them in achieving their best health.

I also believe that to master your body you have to master your mind,
too. We build mental and physical strength together and encourage you to discover your true potential.

And what makes this all so much fun is our amazing community at
Revolution Fitness. Our athletes and coaches bring true inspiration and a lot of joy to me, which I hope to share with you!

Growing up, I played many sports. I’ve always loved challenging myself athletically. I started bodybuilding and coaching tennis in college and enjoyed watching my students’ skills evolve. Once I started a family, I got into boxing still yearning for that competitive adrenaline. I thought those days were behind me. That is until I walked into the Revolution Fitness doors, asking about RevFit. It sounded simple enough, so I tried a class and was instantly hooked! It reenergized the athlete in me. RevFit presented me with new exciting physical challenges and goals to achieve. As the months went on, I reveled in learning all the movements, techniques and loved soaking up each new challenge. I soon realized that RevFit was quickly becoming my passion. I’ve always pushed to better myself, and I found RevFit to be the perfect combination of everything I love. The ultimate challenge of athleticism, strength, and fitness.

I love helping members discover themselves. People are stronger and more capable than they think. Building confidence through fitness is what it’s all about for me. Watching members perform a movement they once declared they’d never be able to do is amazing.

We are a diverse group of people that come together, like family, to truly support one another on their fitness journey. Put any doubts away when you walk in the door. Revolution Fitness is an extremely supportive community. We’ve all been where you are. Stay disciplined and your fitness will improve drastically! Come for the fitness. Stay for the community. Let’s go!

I’ve had a long journey in my fitness career. I’ve played hockey through college at Northern Illinois University; I’ve trained more bodybuilding and powerlifting since 2008; I’ve also been doing CrossFit since 2015. I’ve also worked through multiple injuries, including concussions, a broken right hand, right knee pain, and emergency lower back surgery.

I’ve been a personal trainer and coach since 2012 and have educated myself in numerous avenues and specialties. Since then, I’ve also developed a medical background in the areas of physical therapy and orthopedics in pursuit of becoming a Physician Assistant. Therefore, I’ve been able to combine my knowledge in fitness and medicine, in pursuit of changing the face of healthcare, to use that combination to my clients’ benefit.

I specialize in customized fitness and nutrition programs, as well as training hockey players at different levels in their development. My goal is to help increase fitness levels, preventing and get people out of pain, and helping my clients reach their goals at all possible. I can’t wait to work with you and help you along your fitness journey!

The roots of my fitness journey began back in college. I attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), and served that community as a resident advisor and a leader of the Health and Wellness Committee. During my time at SAIC the Health and Wellness Committee worked closely with a dance/movement therapist that introduced me to yoga. I realized then that yoga wasn’t only a form of expression, but also a form of exercise that can be practiced at anytime and anywhere. After I graduated college in 2013 and moved back home to Naperville, I explored and practiced a handful of different types of yoga ranging from fast-paced Vinyasa to slow-paced Yin/restorative.

Eventually, I determined my yoga practice needed to be paired with a totally different fitness discipline, and my mom convinced me to join her down at CrossFit in 2016. We spent a few years dedicated to personal training with the goal to really understand Olympic weightlifting and powerlifting. This is when I really developed my passion for the barbell movements and to this day it’s what excites me most when I’m at CrossFit. The barbell movements (especially Olympic lifts) are a constant work in progress for all of us and can be overwhelming at times regardless of experience level. My coaching philosophy is simply that sometimes we need to slow down movements one-on-one in personal training in order to speed them up in the exciting class environment!
